Thanks to our donors, three tables were set up for costumes: one with all different types of glittery tiaras, one with superhero capes and matching masks, and one with gorgeous yarn wigs generously donated by The Magic Yarn Project. One large table was set up with assorted Valentine’s Day crafts and another had princess makeup kits and nail polish sets.
8 girls and 7 boys enjoyed a morning of food, fun, and entertainment. Everyone, along with their siblings, got to pick their own firefighter hat, glittery tiara, or a cool superhero cape and matching mask.
We're thrilled to have the support of Global Welding Service to make our hospital visits become a reality. With their generous sponsorship, we've started planning our first hospital visit for August 9th! Thank you Global!
Our morning at Texas Children's Clinic was filled with so much laughter that all our cheeks hurt from all the smiling and laughing. We interacted with 22 girls and 12 boys. They were so excited to see us! After the flooding that Houston has faced from Harvey, this event was very special to me and my volunteers and I do believe the kids really appreciated the distraction. Today has been an absolute pleasure and I truly appreciate being a part of this organization.
