In June, we received a phone call from a Manager of Child, Adolescent & Young Adult Life at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She asked us if we would be able to grant a Family Experience Activity to a young patient who was receiving treatment. Thanks to funds raised through the generosity of our wonderful donors and sponsors, For A Day was able to present the patient, her parents and her four siblings with seven All-Day Activity tickets to Downtown Aquarium. They were able to spend an enjoyable day away from the hospital, relaxing and having fun as a family. After that day, the patient's mother wrote a thank you note to us, in which she said, "Thanks to y'all for giving us the opportunity to take our family out for a day of fun!!" We at For A Day echo her sentiments and want to thank each and every one of you for making this possible!
