The For a Day Foundation is a national 501C3 organization committed to creating emotionally therapeutic experiences for seriously ill children - and providing them and their families with a joyful and much needed diversion from the strain of chronic treatment.

Since 2000, we served sick children through our Queen for a Day & Hero for a Day programs.

Covid shifted our focus.

We now work directly with families to fulfill small and medium wishes to simply spend time together. We try to customize each experience to each family based on their availability and preferences.

Ultimately, our goal is to continue providing (or even increase!) programming that:
