The For a Day Foundation seeks to engage strategic initiators for its national Board of Directors.
The objectives of the Board are to:
-build the budget to increase quality and quantity of program services; to increase efficiency of program administration with professional services
-recruit new board members consistently; develop board leadership succession
-expand Foundation relationships with mission partners and supporting/donor partners
-guide chapter expansion strategy and implementation
The FADF looks to expand exposure to industries of interest, including:
-cosmetic -children's products
-pediatric oncology support
If you are part of or have connections to the industries above and have some or all of the qualities below, we'd love to talk with you:
-business development -for-profit board experience
No previous board experience required, but is helpful.
Potential members may be looking to contribute existing professional experience or to build new skills or experience.
Can be based anywhere nationally, but prefer NYC-based individuals.
Board member participation requirements:
-Give/get $3500 annually
-Participate in annual email campaign
-Attend three of the four meetings/conference calls
-Meet with Board once a year in NYC
-Make one hospital visit (program related) within the first year of service
