Since social distancing restrictions, we’ve been unable to make our usual visits or even arrange family outings (our children have compromised immune systems, so this is an especially sensitive time for them). In lieu of our usual programming, we’ve sent STEM activity kits to our partner facilities to keep the kids occupied, distracted, and engaged.
The kits have been successful and we’re prepping to send more on a regular basis - 250 kits in 2021! We’re also working on other ways we can support families by enhancing their quality of life. This remains a highly customized experience and we’re delighted to apply creative solutions to all the parameters of our situation.
