For a Day's Inaugural Young Ambassador
Meet Kirsten, For a Day's inaugural Young Ambassador.
Hi. My name is Kirsten and I’m so glad to be a part of the For A Day family. I am excited to be able to use my talents here, and I am looking forward to doing my best to bless these special children in the upcoming years.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I am 12 years old, homeschooled, and have been involved in pageantry since the age of 8. I have a brother with autism—which can make life challenging at times—but it has also helped me to learn to love and accept everyone. I enjoy acting, springboard diving, and flow wanding, but above all I love working with young children. From working in our local VBS programs to leading the young princesses in our local pageant, bringing smiles to children’s faces is my greatest pleasure.
I am looking forward to hosting For A Day events at local hospitals in the future, but right now I am focusing on fundraising and securing donations for the For A Day chapters throughout the United States, as well as learning everything I can from my mentor, Jenna Edwards. Over the next several years I know I will grow in many ways through this organization. And with each step, I know I will grow in my ability to bless these children. I am excited to be here and I’m excited that this adventure has now begun!
